10K RUN & WALK
The 10km option at Run Devonport is the most popular race distance and the perfect summer Sunday hit out for keen runners and walkers. The course is almost entirely flat and the running surface is excellent. If you are looking for a place to chase a new PB over the classic distance ... look no further than this!
Runners in the 10k will start at 8am - along with the 5k and 15k runners - whilst those in the Competitive Walk will start 3 minutes later. We ask that walkers stay out of the start chute until the runners have cleared the start area.
See below for a description and map of the course.

All participants in the 5k, 10 and 15k (Run or Walk) at Run Devonport will start under the Start Arch on the north (harbour) side of the main sport's building. From there, you proceed on a counter-clockwise figure of eight loop, bookended in the west by Navy Fields and in the east by Ngataringa Park.
THE 10K RACE IS TWO LAPS OF THE 5K LOOP
At the end of each lap, you will reach the "Decision Point" where you must bear left for the finish line or continue ahead to the Start Arch to begin your next lap. Check out the "Decision Point" map and description in the course maps page.
