2k Kids’ Dash – Harcourts Cooper & Co Run Devonport

2k Kids’ Dash

2K KIDS' DASH

Feel the thunder! The kids course is an easy, flat and traffic free loop course around the Navy Fields perimeter road with a short out-and-back section to the Navy control gate. The kids get to start under the same arch as the adults and the wide road means there is heaps of room for everyone.

Kids ... remember to KEEP LEFT at all times on this course! And what do you get when you make it back to that finish line? That's right ... you're awesome finisher medal!

Parents - remember that you are most welcome to accompany your child on the course - but please start at the back of the field and take care not to impede the faster kids who are racing for placing :)

 The Course

The 2k kids dash course at Run Devonport is pancake flat and follows the Navy Fields perimeter road all the way out to the main gate, where a short out-and-back section along  Ngataringa Bay Access Rd gets the distance just right. On the way back, kids complete most of the rest of the perimeter road lap before turning into the finish chute. The entire course is closed to traffic.

Important!  Kids should KEEP RIGHT on the out-and-back section to the Navy control area main gate to allow for faster kids returning on the other side of the road.
